The Crochet Christmas Ornaments featured in the Christmas-y CAL!

Starting this coming Wednesday, I will be publishing one Crochet Christmas ornament a day for 6 days! That means six new Christmas ornaments for you to hang on your tree or give away.

Each of these ornaments are fairly easy to make. They are also fairly quick!

What you will need:

For four of the ornaments I have crocheted around a plastic DIY ornament that I picked up from my local craft store. The last two are crocheted around a 3 inch metal ring.

materials for the crochet Christmas ornaments
You will need a little bit of a light weight yarn, 4 mm crochet hook, 3 inch metal rings and plastic DIY ornaments

If you don’t have the plastic DIY ornaments on hand, consider up cycling an old Christmas Bauble! The ones I am using have a 8 inch circumference.

Along with the plastic ornaments and metal rings, I will be using small amounts of the Shawl in a Ball yarn by Lion Brand Yarn. I love the little bit of sparkle in it!

Although the Shawl in a Ball yarn is classified as a worsted/medium/#4 weight yarn, if you are going to substitute, I would recommend a light weight (or #3 weight) yarn.

You will also need a 4 mm/G crochet hook and a yarn needle for weaving in your ends!

I’m so excited! And I hope that you will join me in the coming days!
