The Carols Ornament:
This crochet Christmas Ornament is quick to make. It features only six rounds and the final round is worked around a 3 inch metal ring. The metal ring I picked up at my local craft store.
Not only would these ornaments look great hanging on your tree or garland, but you could also attach them to the top of a Christmas gift as an accent to the wrapping.
Materials:
For this crochet Christmas ornament, along with the metal ring which I purchased from my local craft store, you will need a small amount of a light weight yarn.
For my ornaments I used the Shawl in a Ball by Lion Brand Yarn. It is classified as a medium worsted weight, but I find it on the lighter side. So if you would like to substitute for a different yarn, you will want to find a light (#3) yarn.
You will also need a 4 mm crochet hook. I am using a wooden Streamline crochet hook in Ebony by Furls Crochet.
