The Ainsley Cowl crochet pattern is the perfect crochet accessory to complement the very textured Ainsley Beanie!

There is so much texture in this cowl – I love it! As you saw in the Ainsley Beanie, the texture in this design is created by working a pattern of front and back post double crochet stitches.  I love the finished look as the stitches almost look as though they are interlocking.  And it’s all achieved with front and back post double crochet stitches!

A textured crochet cowl

The Ainsley Cowl is worked from the bottom up and it features a double crochet ribbing that can be found around the top and bottom edges.  I have worked it slightly larger than a neck warmer so that there is lots of drape.  If you would like to work it smaller or larger such as in an infinity cowl, I will provide the multiples down below to help you adjust the stitch counts.  This crochet cowl is so cozy and I hope you enjoy wearing it as much as I do!
