The Stepping Stone Cowl crochet pattern is a beautiful fall design that worked in double crochet and is so much easier than it looks!
A couple of weeks ago I published a crochet stitch tutorial for the Stepping Stones Stitch worked in rounds, and then last week, worked in rows.

The stitch pattern was patterned off of an AI image that was making the rounds on social media and I fell in love with it! There are so many great colour options for the pattern that really shows off the stitch. The pattern itself is worked mostly in double crochet so it’s a great project if you are new to crochet.
I have worked the pattern as a simple cowl or neck warmer, but with more time (and yarn!) it would be interesting to try it as an infinity scarf! Stay tuned as I also have a hat in the works that will be posted in a couple weeks.
The design is worked all as one piece and in rounds from the bottom up.

PDF Copies are available.:
This crochet pattern will be written out in full below followed by a free video tutorial. The pattern is free to follow on my site and will always be free! If, however, you would like a printable copy, you may purchase one from my Etsy and Ravelry Shops linked below:
