Crochet Ear Warmers, like this Honeycomb Ear Warmer crochet pattern, are a great option for when you are looking for a quick project!
This Honeycomb Ear Warmer crochet pattern is very easy to work in rows using basic crochet stitches. It’s also not going to take up too much yarn meaning that you could probably use some worsted weight yarn that you already have on hand to complete it.
I enjoy crocheting ear warmers for the reasons above. They are also a great accessory as we head into months that are not as cold as in deep winter.

The Honeycomb Ear Warmer is worked in rows. Once it is complete, you will fold it over as shown below and sew it together to give it the twist in the front.
The “twist” is not as hard as it looks! At the end of your work, you will fold the ear warmer so that the two short ends meet and then scrunch the short ends so that they create a “W” shape before sewing. Don’t worry, I will demonstrate how it’s done in the video tutorial below!
It uses a variety of basic crochet stitches including a double crochet, single crochet and a front post single crochet. You will be able to adjust the size as necessary with the tips in the pattern notes below.

Join ends together:
To join the ends together, fold your ear warmer over so that the two ends meet and the wrong side is facing out. Keeping the two short ends held together, fold the end so that it creates a “W” shape. Using a little bit of yarn and a yarn needle, secure the W shape in place by sewing.
Fasten off, weave in your ends and turn the ear warmer so that the right side is now facing.
