The Moss Beanie Crochet pattern is an easy one to work featuring the beautiful and textured pistachio stitch.

I love the Pistachio crochet stitch! It has a similar, but smaller texture, to the 3D Shell Stitch. The texture in both of these stitches creates a 3D effect, is easy to work as a one row repeat, solid and the same on both sides.

The Moss Beanie crochet pattern is worked from the brim up. The texture in the hat is continuous to the crown where you will simply sew the top of the hat closed. I will tell you and show you how in the free video tutorial down below.

The Crochet Moss Beanie worked in a green coloured yarn

I have worked this crochet hat in a worsted weight acrylic yarn. You will see it worked here in the Heartland yarn by Lion Brand Yarn. The colour shown is Joshua Tree. This yarn is so soft! It is thick for a worsted weight yarn making this crochet hat super cozy.

Along with the yarn you will need a 5 mm crochet hook. In the video tutorial below you will see me using a Clover Soft Touch Hook.
