The Prairie Scarf Crochet pattern is an easy scarf to work! It features a repetitive stitch with a mesmerizing colour stripping!

I am really loving stripes in my crochet projects this year! This easy crochet scarf has been worked in a herringbone stitch and features some classic grey and white stripes.  This scarf was designed to complement the Prairie Beanie.

Both of these patterns are being featured in the Wonderful Hats crochet along! If you have not already, I encourage you to check the crochet along out: Wonderful Hats Crochet Along.

You will find the three previous patterns here:

Week One Beanie: The Winterberry Beanie

The Construction:

This easy crochet scarf is worked all in one piece.  After working each stripe of colour, I do fasten off and weave in my ends.  As there is no edging worked along the sides, your will not want the ends showing.

The ring on this scarf is one of my favourites! It’s worked in front and back post double crochet stitches.  Be sure to check out the full video tutorial below which will show you how to work these stitches!
