With spring approaching I find myself in the mood to crochet something bright and cheerful! These little easy crochet flower appliqués are perfect!
I love these little flowers and I picture them being used in a variety of ways. You could add them to a card you might be making or perhaps add them to a crochet bag, top or hat. I even think they would be pretty scattered on the table. My daughter loves collecting them and keeping them in her little treasure box. These little crochet flower appliqués can be used in so many ways!
Worsted Weight Yarn:
For the pattern I used a 100% worsted/medium weight cotton yarn. However, the pattern is not particular to any fibre and can be made in any blend of yarn, an acrylic or wool. Feel free to experiment!
Make one in less than five minutes!
Each little flower appliqué works up in under five minutes. I whipped up a bunch in a variety of spring colours. Depending on what you are using them for you may choose to weave in your ends right away or leave long tails that you can use to fasten the flower appliqués onto another project.
5 mm crochet hook:
Along with your worsted weight yarn you will also need a 5 mm crochet hook, a yarn needle and scissors for finishing.
