The Granny Christmas Stocking is a modern update to a classic look! It is easy to make and going to work up quickly!

The Granny Christmas Stocking is made up of individual granny squares that are then sewn together in an “L” shape.  The two sides are then crocheted together and a simple cuff is added to complete the look!

The stocking is worked in a super bulky weight yarn which makes it so quick to make, you can make multiple in time for Christmas or work some up to sell at a local craft fair.

The Materials:

For this pattern you are going to need a super bulky weight yarn in two different colours.  In the photos and the video tutorial below I will be using the Wool Ease Thick & Quick by Lion Brand Yarn.

You will also need a 10 mm crochet hook.  In the video below I will be using a wooden hook that was made by my husband.  But if you love wooden hooks as I do, you may wish to check out the Wooden Streamline hooks by Furls Crochet.  They are also a favourite!
