If you enjoyed the Deep River Beanie on Wednesday, you may wish to add a Deep River Scarf crochet pattern to make it a set!
Welcome to the second part of week one of the Wonderful Hats Crochet Along! If you have been following the crochet along you will know that I Wednesday we were introduced to the Deep River Beanie. It featured some beautiful texture created by working front post double crochet and some half double crochet stitches worked in the 3rd loop.
For our Deep River Scarf crochet pattern today we will continue with some of that beautiful texture in rows.

The Deep River Scarf is worked along the short ends (so no long foundation chains!). I have used two hanks of the Heatherly yarn by WeCrochet which have about 218 yards in each. My finished scarf measured about 55 inches not including the fringe. If you are someone to prefers to have a bit of a longer scarf, you may wish to have a little extra yarn on hand.

Barn Quilt Blankets is a collection of five blanket crochet patterns that feature a beautiful geometric designs. The book is now available in both paperback and ebook formats on Amazon! You can read about it here: BARN QUILT BLANKETS
