This time of year I can’t help but think of apple blossoms – which makes the Apple Blossom Stitch a perfect stitch to introduce to you today!

The Apple Blossom crochet stitch is a fairly easy and quick stitch to work once you get the hang of its cluster stitches.  The fabric is nearly solid and mostly comprised of double crochet stitches with flower blossom stitches worked in between.  The fabric is the same on both sides and fairly lightweight. It could be used in a variety of projects!

A Crochet stitch featuring staggered flower blossom stitches

The Materials:

For this tutorial today I will be using a small amount of Pima Cotton Yarn by Lion Brand Yarn in one colour. It is a worsted weight, 100% cotton yarn. The hook shown in the video below is a handmade hook by Bowltech Crochet Hooks.  However you may use any hook and yarn combination you choose, even experiment with stripes of colour!

Thank you so much for stopping by! If you enjoy the tutorial below, be sure to also check out some of the many other crochet stitch tutorials on my site, such as the Lacy Bobble Stitch | How to Crochet and pin this one for later!
