If you love working with super bulky weight yarn as I do, you’ll also love this Hearts Entwined Chunky Scarf by Heather of The Unraveled Mitten! You’ll need about 300 yards of a super bulky weight yarn for this project and Heather will walk you through working the cable stitches!
Pillow Case with Flying Hearts
The Pillow Case with flying hearts is a free crochet pattern by Nicole Riley of Nicki’s Homemade crafts! This pillow case would add a cozy addition to your home. The case is worked separately and then the little crochet hearts are added as appliqués once completed.
Aren’t these Crochet Valentine Bears by Stephanie of Grace and Yarn adorable?? These little bears are definitely on my todo list! A little nervous about entering into the world of amigurumi? Not to worry, Stephanie has some great tips to get you started on the right track!

These Crochet Heart Pillows by Amanda of Loops & Love look so soft and squishy! She has made hers with the Bernat Blanket Brights yarn by Yarnspirations. This yarn is so soft and great for hugs! It’s super bulky weight also means this project will work up quickly and can be customized in a variety of colours.
Blushing Heart Crochet Bag:
I love the aesthetic of this Blushing Heart Crochet Bag by Mark of Cute & Cozy Crochet! The bag uses a stitch pattern called the Lemon Peel stitch and the result is a beautiful texture. The stitch design has quite a bit of stability which makes it a great choice for this heart inspired project!
These Mini Crochet Heart Pops by Caitie of Thoresby Cottage are such a fun idea for Valentine’s Day! These would make such a cute little gift for your friends and coworkers – or perhaps for your children to give out as valentines to their classmates! I could even see them used as accents on a celebratory cake!
The Sketch Heart Cup Sleeve by Kat of Krazy Kabbage is an other quick project perfect for last minute gift giving! Why not use up some scrap yarn on these heart themed cup cozies? They can be made with a worsted weight cotton yarn and work great on the go.
And that brings us to the end of this Heart inspired free crochet pattern round up! Which free heart crochet pattern will you start with first?
Happy Valentine’s Day and happy crocheting!
