The Windermere Scarf features a lot of the same crochet stitches as its matching beanie like front and back post double crochet stitches and single crochet in the back loop. The scarf will throw in some stitches in the front loop also. I have added a fringe to the ends of my scarf – this fringe is optional through! Finally, as the scarf is worked starting at the ends, you are able to make the scarf as long as needed. I used two and a half balls of yarn and mine measured approximately 65 inches long.
The Materials:
I have worked my scarf shown in the photos and video tutorial below in the Impeccable Yarn by Loops and Threads. It is a medium/worsted weight yarn that is 100% acrylic. You are welcome to substitute it for another yarn of your choice. Each ball has approximately 285 yards and, as mentioned above, I used about 2.5 balls for the scarf including the fringe.

I just finished the Windermere beanie and had enough yarn in the skein to make a matching ear warmer / headband. Have you considered marketing ear warmers? I used a G hook and did a foundation row of 68 sc then followed your pattern through round 15. To finish I went up to an H hook and did a round of very loose slip stitch. Just a suggestion. I look forward to the beanie CAL like a kid looks forward to summer vacation.
