The Tundra Slippers Crochet Pattern is a boot style slipper with a super cozy ribbed cuff!
I have been really enjoying crochet slipper lately! They are fairly simple to work and so, so cozy to wear. The Tundra Slippers are extra cozy as they are worked in a super bulky weight yarn and feature a double thick sole. They are worked in a similar way to the Fireside Slippers and the Cottage Slippers.

This Tundra Slipper crochet pattern is available in four adult sizes. They do have a bit of stretch to them as you wear them. I also find it helpful to apply a product like Sock Stop or even beads of hot glue to the soles after the slipper is made which helps to make them anti-slip. Crochet slippers can be slippery!

The Materials:
I mentioned above that for these slippers I used a super bulky weight yarn. The yarn shown here in my photos and in the video tutorial down below is a wool blend yarn called Wool Ease Thick & Quick by Lion Brand Yarn. This yarn makes a wonderful yarn for slippers and comes in a variety of colours. Along with it I used a 8 mm (L/11) crochet hook.

Pattern Notes:
- Pattern is written in American English terms.
- Pattern is worked in rounds.
- Turn your work as instructed
- Ch 1 at the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.
- Weave in ends as needed.
- The sole of this slipper is double thick. You will work two soles for each slipper and crochet them together as per the instructions below.
- Yarn can be slippery on smooth flooring when used in footwear! I recommend using a product like sock stop or even hot glue (hot glue gun) on the bottom of the slipper to create a better grip and help prevent slipping.
