You will love the pretty shell texture and design of this beautiful Low Tide Scarf crochet pattern!
This past summer I spent some time along the Atlantic Ocean in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada which is where I grew up. I have always felt at home by the ocean so naturally we spent a lot of time combing the beaches this summer with our kids.
One of the best times to do this is during low tide, when you can walk the sand for miles! We found lots of sea creatures, plant life, rocks and beautiful shells which the kids dutifully collected.
The Low Tide Scarf celebrates the time we had this past summer as it features beautiful and delicate crochet cluster shells. The cluster shells are worked throughout the scarf interspersed between simple double crochet v stitches. I love its lacy and elegant look.

The Materials:
For this crochet infinity scarf I used almost an entire ball of the Mandala Bonus Bundle Cake by Lion Brand yarn. It is a light weight yarn with about 1100 yards per cake. I also used a 5mm crochet hook and will be working with a Birchwood Crochet Hook by Rowan. If you are looking for other projects worked in this yarn, you may wish to check out the Happy Trails scarf, the Acorn Scarf or Goldenrod Scarf. If you are looking for one with a lot of texture, the Bethany Scarf is the way to go.
