Welcome to the final week of the 2025 Wonderful Hats crochet along where we will learn to make the Inlet Beanie crochet pattern.

The Inlet Beanie crochet pattern is the final crochet pattern in this year’s event! Over the past few weeks we have had a great time working on three new hats patterns and their matching accessories. And I look forward to bringing you this one.

The Wonderful Hats Crochet Along:

If this is your first time hearing about the Wonderful Hats Crochet Along I invite you to check out the previous crochet patterns! As this is the fourth week in this year’s event we have already worked three new crochet hat patterns which are as follows: the Deep River Beanie, the Hill Beanie and the Bay Beanie. On Friday I will publish the final neck warmer in the series.

But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves!

The Inlet Crochet Hat:

Our hat pattern today is full of thick, beautiful texture! It showcases a stitch pattern called the Trend Stitch. It uses a beautiful cluster stitch (that is defined under the “Stitches and Abbreviations” below) and some half double crochet stitches worked in the third loop.

It is worked from the bottom up and we will be working the adult size in the tutorial today. With reference to the stitch multiples should you wish to change the size of your hat.

The Materials:

For the hat, you will need about 200 yards of a medium/worsted weight yarn as well as a 5mm (H/8) crochet hook. I will provide the details about the specific yarn I used in the photos down below.

PDF Copies are available:

The crochet pattern for the Inlet Beanie will be written out in full below followed by a free video tutorial.  The pattern is free to follow on my site and will always be free! If, however, you would like a printable copy, you may purchase one from my Etsy and Ravelry Shops linked below:
