The Everyday Dishcloth crochet pattern is about to become your next new favourite with its double sided, easy texture.

Dishcloths are a wonderful project to crochet! They are easy, can often be made using the cotton yarn you have on hand, are great for your own home and/or to give as gifts!

They are also a great way to try out new stitches.

The Everyday Dishcloth crochet pattern features a favourite stitch pattern of mine called the “even moss stitch.” It is comprised of basic crochet stitches including the half double crochet and slip stitch. If you are not a fan however of working into slip stitch, don’t worry, the combination with the half double crochet makes them very easy.

The dishcloth is finished off with a couple of rounds of single crochet stitches which really set off the wonderful texture.

What materials do you need to make this crochet dishcloth?

For this crochet dishcloth I have used a worsted weight 100% cotton yarn called Dishie by KnitPicks and WeCrochet. I always recommend a 100% cotton yarn when making dishcloths. Not only is it available in a wide range of colours, but it is also durable and holds its shape well, even when under a lot of stress and use!

PDF Copies are also Available:
