More Caron Tea Cake patterns! Yea! You may feel differently, but I just love them.  So here I am introducing my latest pattern using two Caron Tea Cakes (shown in the colour English Breakfast) is my “In the Woods Triangle Scarf.”

One of my favourite places to visit is a conservation area not too far from where we live.  There you’ll find a small historical homestead that has been turned into a museum, and acres and acres of forest, trails, ponds and fields.  We love to explore, search for wildlife, walk the trails and let the kids and the dog run.

This triangle scarf, with the use of the Caron Tea Cakes reminds me of the forest there – the trees and the forest floor.  It’s luxurious in weight, texture and style.  A perfect fall and winter accessory while walking through the woods.

For this project you will need 2 Caron tea cakes, or if you would like to use a %100 acrylic yarn you may use Bernat Softee Chunky or any other Super Bulky Weight (6) yarn.  You will also need an 8mm crochet hook.

For those of you who wish to purchase a convenient, download and go copy, or if you would like to add this pattern to your Etsy favourites or Ravelry Library, you may do so here:

Now before we get to the pattern, just one quick announcement – you’ll see in some of the photos that I am also modeling a grey hat.  Good news! The hat patterns will also be released this coming week here free on the blog and in my shops.  There will be a slouch, beanie and messy un version.  How fun is that! So be sure to follow my blog, or connect on Facebook to be the first to know when they are available.
