The Spirit Cowl crochet pattern is a beautiful, thick infinity scarf! You may wear it long, or add a twist to make it more snug.
The width of the cowl is fairly thick at 15 inches which also means that, if you choose, you may wear it as a hooded cowl. There are so many possibilities!
The construction of this cowl is simple. The Spirit cowl crochet pattern is worked as one piece in rounds. It features rounds of textures bobble stitches between rows of a mixed v-stitch. The two stitches together creates a beautiful texture.
For this design I have used the Mandala Bonus Bundles by Lion Brand Yarn. These yarn cakes are wonderful! They are a soft 100% acrylic light weight yarn. They come in oversized cakes (over 1000 yards!) in gorgeous colour combinations. I love it when the yarn makes colour work so easy!
I have paired the yarn with a 5 mm crochet hook. In the video below you will see me using a Soft Touch Clover crochet hook. The larger hook with the lighter weight yarn gives the fabric just a little more drape.
