The Nautical Throw Crochet Pattern features a beautiful stripe pattern in a wonderfully textured stitch pattern.
The stitch pattern I’ve used in this blanket is one of my favourites for blankets around my home! They moss stitch (also sometimes called the linen stitch) is very easy to work, creates a solid fabric that is the same on both sides, has great drape and can be easily customized with colour!
I have worked several blankets in this stitch in the past including the Benjamin Throw and the True Colours Throw. The Moss Stitch just creates such a beautiful blanket that is not too heavy, but warm.
The Nautical Throw is worked all as one piece featured various stripes that range in a variety of thicknesses. It’s a simple, clean and classic look. To the ends I have added a simple short fringe which ties it all in. The method I use to create the fringe is by simply tying knots! It’s easy and the individual tassels hold up well with wear and washing.
