The Touch of Irish Cup Cozy crochet pattern is a beautiful cup cozy with lots of texture and a cozy feel!

Just like my Hint of Love Cup Cozy Crochet Pattern, this crochet cup cozy reminds me of a sweater, but for your mug! It looks so cozy and comfortable.

The Touch of Irish Cup Cozy features an easy texture.  The main body of the cozy is worked entirely in slip stitches in the black loop only.  Once these stitches are finished and the sides joined, you will add a quick, easy textured edging to the top and bottom.  These cup cozies work up quickly making them a great item to sell at craft fairs, or as a gift, or for your own travel mug! I did add an optional shamrock charm that I picked up at a local craft store to add something a bit extra.

Materials

For the Touch of Irish Cup Cozy I have used a worsted weight cotton blend yarn.  I’ve used the Eco Cotton by Loops & Threads, but if you do not have this particular yarn on hand, there are many other great worsted weight cotton yarns that you may use as a substitute!  You will also need a 5mm crochet hook.  The hook shown in the video below is a 5 mm birchwood crochet hook by Rowan Yarns.
