The Golden Cowl is a beautifully textured cowl.  It is made using one ball of yarn and can be worked in one colour or multiple!

I love this golden colour in the Heartland Yarn by Lion Brand and, after picking it up at my local craft store, I knew I wanted to make a hat and cowl set.  Thus, the Golden Cowl, and stay tuned, the matching beanie will be available next week!

A golden coloured crochet cowl

This crochet cowl is worked from the bottom up.  The body of the cowl is worked in one of my favourite stitches: the even moss stitch.  It features a textured edging on both edges that is worked in front and back post double crochet stitches.  It’s so easy! And so beautiful! I can’t wait to see your finished one!

Scarf of the Month Blog Hop!

I am so excited to be featured today on the Hat and Scarf of the Month Blog Hop being hosted by The Stitchin Mommy and Oombawka Designs! This cowl is being featured along with this beautiful Herringbone Scarf! It is beautiful and I hope that you will check it out!

The Materials:

For this crochet cowl today I will be using about 250 yards of a worsted weight acrylic yarn called Heartland by Lion Brand Yarn.  You see it here in the colour Canyonlands.  I will also be using a 5mm crochet hook.
