If you are looking for a quick and easy crochet project, this Elizabeth Face Scrubby crochet pattern is perfect for you!

As I am writing this post, I am in the final couple of weeks before Christmas working to complete a few last minute gifts. And if you are the kind of person, like myself, who likes to give handmade gifts, you may also be searching for the perfect, last minute stocking stuffer. Or perhaps you are looking for one more item to add to your holiday craft table at a local craft sale, or you are simply looking for a small project that you can make just for you.

You are going to love this little face scrubby! And did I mention that at the end of the pattern below, I have also included a printout for a free Face Scrubby wrap label? It’s going to make finishing off your set and giving it a professional look so easy!

How to crochet a face scrubby:

When looking at making a crochet face scrubby, you will first want to select a cotton yarn. Personally I prefer to use a 100% cotton yarn for my crochet washcloths and scrubbies. Cotton comes in a variety of colours, is durable and can withstand hot temperatures that come with use and frequent washing. Below I am working with a variety of worsted/medium weight yarn including Bernat Handicrafter Cotton and Dishie Cotton by WeCrochet.

Along with your worsted weight yarn you will want to use a 5 mm crochet hook.

This little face scrubby measures approximately 2.5 inches across. To begin you will start with a magic ring or chain two. You will then work a number of cluster stitches into the centre and then continue to work two more rounds of cluster stitches.

The entire scrubby is worked in only three rounds and you can make one in about 5 minutes or less!

Down below you will also find a printout of a wrap label to make it easy to package a set of scrubbies for gifting and selling!
