Are you looking for a simple crochet scrubby for everyday use around the house? Look no further than the Disk Scrubby Crochet Pattern!

I feel like it’s been along time since I have published a crochet scrubby pattern so I am excited to bring you this simple one today! My last two crochet scrubby patterns were the Favourite Scrubby and the Sand Dollar Scrubby.

The Disk Scrubby Crochet Pattern is an easy crochet scrubby with a soft and absorbent cotton on one side and a tough scrubby texture on the other.

They are easy to work and you can make multiple scrubbies with the one ball of cotton and one ball of cotton yarn.

What kind of yarn should I use to crochet a scrubby?

For this round disk scrubby I used a new-to-me scrubby yarn called Stitch Soak Scrub by Lion Brand yarn. It is a worsted/medium weight yarn that is 100% nylon. It looks like little chains woven together so it is super tough. It has a bit of stretch to it, but I didn’t find it too difficult to work with.

Although I haven’t tried it yet, I imagine that it would be possible to use other brands of scrubby yarn if you are looking for an alternative.

For the other side of the Disk Scrubby crochet pattern I used a soft, medium/worsted weight cotton yarn. In the photos and video tutorial below you will see a Pima Cotton also by Lion Brand.
