This Easy Stripes crochet bookmark is so easy! It is quick to work making it a great quick morning, afternoon or evening project!

If you have been following me for a bit, you may know that I love to read! So each year I like to publish a few new crochet bookmark patterns as I add to my own collection (you can never have too many bookmarks, right?).  Because they use scraps of yarn and are quick projects, they also make a nice little addition to a gift, or as an item to sell at a local craft fair or shop! I always keep a small collection on hand to give out.

A blue and white striped crochet bookmark

This little easy bookmark only requires a small amount of a light weight yarn in a few colours.  I have used two colours in the photos below, however feel free to change up the stripes – you may choose only one colour or many! As an optional embellishment, I have added a tassel to my bookmark although it is not needed.  I will show you in the video tutorial below how Il made and attached it.
