This Crescent Bookmark crochet pattern is a delicate lace bookmark pattern.  It is easy to make and easy to adjust the size!

I love to read! And I will often have two or three books on the go.  Therefore I am always looking for bookmarks.  Love making crochet bookmarks and have several designs posted here on my blog.  I will be sure to share another with you down below following the video tutorial.

Bookmarks also make a great end of the year teacher gift, are a great seller at craft fairs and are a fun addition to a card or gift to a friend or family member.

The Crescent Bookmark

This Crescent Bookmark crochet pattern is an easy design and it will work up super quickly.  It is pretty, being worked in a light weight yarn.  For mine, I have added a tassel at the end, however the bookmark also looks great with out.

The Materials:

I enjoy working my bookmarks in a 100% cotton yarn.  I am using a light weight yarn by Yarnspirations called Patons Grace.  You can learn more about it here: You can learn more about it here: Paton’s Grace – Yarnspirations.com

I am also using a 3.75 mm crochet hook.  In the video you will see me using a wooden streamline hook in Ebony by Furls Crochet.  It is one of my favourite hooks!

  1. Hi there! Wondering if you could give me the directions to make and attach the tassel that you have on the photo? I love how it looks but have never attempted a tassel before. Thanks so much!

  2. Amazing pattern! I love the look, and the instructions were simple and easy to follow! I am making one as a last-minute gift for my cousin who loves reading, and I might make another, but turn it into a bracelet, because I think this pattern would work well for that, too! Thanks for the pattern!
