Touch of Blush Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern

For me, late summer and early spring are the best seasons for shawls! It is during these uncertain temperatures that it is wonderful to be able to grab a shawl or wrap as you head out the door or head out into the back yard with a good book and cup of tea.

Weather you are hoping to create a beautiful shawl or wrap for yourself, or a looking for a prayer shawl for a friend of loved one, you will love the versatility of the Touch of Blush Shawl.

This shawl is made with a beautiful worsted weight yarn by Lion Brand Yarn called Touch of Alpaca.  It is a blended yarn being 90% acrylic and 10% alpaca.  The alpaca in this yarn makes it super light and super soft! It has a beautiful drape and washes well.  Thank you so much to Lion Brand who provided the yarn support for this project and if you are interested in checking out this beautiful yarn, you’ll find it right here: Lion Brand: Touch of Alpaca

Garment Care:

Once you have completed your shawl, and in the event that it needs to be washed, I have found that washing it on a gentle cycle in my washing machine and then laying it flat to dry works really well.  This helps maintain it’s shape and beautiful jewel tone colour.

If you are looking for shawl patterns, I have one other right here for free on my blog! The Summer breeze shawl can be found here: Summer Breeze Shawl.
