The Reflections Throw is a beautifully textured throw pattern worked in a super bulky weight yarn.  It is an easy pattern!

The super bulky weight yarn makes this crochet blanket so cozy.  You will want to keep it close at hand.

The blanket is worked using a stitch sometimes called the extended moss stitch.  This stitch features long double crochet stitches that are worked over chain spaces in the stitch two rows below.  The result is a textured fabric with great drape and a woven-like texture.

The Materials:

As already mentioned, I have used a super bulky weight yarn for this project.  The yarn shown in the photos here and in the video tutorial down below is called Mandala Thick & Quick by Lion Brand Yarn.  It is 100% acrylic and super soft!  All together you will need about 1650 yards which includes enough for a fringe on each end.

Along with the yarn I will be using a 10 mm crochet hook.
