Welcome to the final week of the 2025 Make it Your Way Crochet Along! Today we will work an Easy Blanket Edging crochet pattern as seen in the Pumpkin Spice Blanket.
These past six weeks have just flown by! And today we are nearing the end of designing your unique stitch sampler blanket. Now that you have worked 20 crochet squares in five unique stitches, joined them together, you’re now ready to add an edging around the entire blanket.
This week I have two options for you: A Picot Blanket Edging and the Easy Blanket Edging found below.
The Easy Blanket Edging works to really set off the textures in your blanket squares! It is an easy three rounds worked using basic crochet stitches. The first and third rounds are rounds of single crochet stitches, and the second is a round of double crochet.

Is this your first time hearing about the Make it Your Way Crochet Along?
If this is your first time hearing about the Make it Your Way Crochet Along, you will want to check out the Introduction and Materials post. Each week, during this event, I will provide two options for a crochet afghan square. You will choose one of the patterns, make four squares in each and at the end we will join the all together. You will then have your very own, beautiful stitch sampler blanket! All of the links to the separate blanket square posts can be found through the Introduction post.
