You’ve now seen the Diamond in the Rough Headband, now let me introduce you to the Diamond in the Rough Crochet Winter Scarf Pattern!

Crochet Winter Scarf

I love the texture of the Diamond in the Rough Headband, and this diamond stitch looks just as gorgeous in the scarf! If you are not already, by the time you complete the scarf you will be a pro at this stitch.

To my scarf I have added a simple fringe to give it just something a little extra.

If you would like to make the coordinating Diamond in the Rough Headband, you will find the written pattern and video tutorial here:

For the scarf, if you are having trouble with the diamond texture, please refer to the video below which is the video for the headband.  There you will find instruction on how to do the diamond stitch.  While you’re there, please subscribe to my YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/RichTexturesCrochet/) where you will find other free crochet patterns and stitch tutorials.  I like to update it weekly!

  1. Love the pattern, would make a lovely shawl, can you tell me what the multiply would be for a rectangle shawl? Thanks

Hello Anne, the multiple is 4 + 3, and 1 for the turning chain

Would love to see a written pattern and video tutorial for this in a rectangle shawl

  2. I love that it looks both airy and that it has strength and wouldn’t stretch a lot. This would make gorgeous pocket shawl. Might just have to do that for myself 🙂 Thank you for the tutorial and pattern!

Hi. Love the pattern. I would like to make the scarf wider. What would the multiple be, to do that?
