I love the lacy heirloom look for a baby blanket. This one gives you just that and is super simple to make!
A little over a year ago I celebrated a new niece in the family. After finding out about her upcoming arrival, I set to work in designing a simple, yet elegant baby blanket for her.
I picked up some super soft Bernat Satin yarn and paired it with a larger crochet hook. I opted to use a simple stitch (that I love!), but worked in the worsted weight yarn with the larger hook, it gives the blanket a lacy look. The result is a blanket with beautiful, subtle texture, great drape, and a light airy feel. It is not a heavy blanket and works up very quickly! It’s great for a last minute baby shower gift.
