Hello and welcome to Rich Textures Crochet! Today we will learn how to crochet the Windy Pines Mittens.

The Windy Pines Mittens were designed to coordinate with the Windy Pines Slouch hat which can also be found for free here on my blog: Windy Pines Slouch Hat – Free Crochet Pattern.  At this time, only the instructions for the Women’s Small/Medium can be found here – perhaps a larger size will arrive in the future.

Caron x Pantone:

These mittens are made with the new Caron x Pantone yarn.  The colour shown today is the Terrarium colourway.  The pattern calls for two skeins however you will not need all of both of the skeins.  Three Skeins will make both the hat and mitten patterns.

This pattern is designed to fit snug, if your would like looser mittens, I would recommend increasing your hook size to an 8mm.
