The Double Cluster V stitch crochet pattern is a pretty design that is perfect for those reversible projects such as shawls and blankets.

The pattern itself is a wonderful one row repeat once you get the pattern set up. It’s going to work fairly quickly and it is one that you can switch colours easily in. I will work it in a solid colour in this tutorial.

A Swatch of the Double Cluster V Stitch worked in a pink yarn

I recently used this stitch as a featured stitch in the Long Island Shawl. I love its lacy look. If you are looking to work taller V stitches you may also wish to try the Triple Cluster V Stitch.

The Materials:

For this tutorial today, I will be using a small amount of Heatherly by KnitPicks and WeCrochet in a single colour. It is a medium/worsted weight yarn that is a wool blend. Along with my worsted weight yarn, I will also be working with a 5 mm (H/8) crochet hook.

Pattern Notes:

This stitch is worked in rows in this tutorial and it may be worked in one colour or many. I will be working this pattern in a single colour.

This pattern is written in American crochet terms.

Row Two:

Row 2: Beg CL in the 1st st, *CL v-st in the next ch-1 sp; Rpt from * across to the final st, CL in the top of the final st.  Turn.
