Hello and welcome to Seven Days of Christmas Baubles! For the next seven days we will learn how to crochet one new Christmas ornament each day starting with this Easy Christmas Bauble!

The Yarn:

The beauty in this ornament is in the fact that it is made with a self striping yarn which means that it has beautiful colour changes that come naturally in the yarn.  I have chose to use the Landscapes Yarn by Lion Brand yarn but you may use any worsted weight yarn.

The Design:

This design is crocheted around a plastic craft Christmas bauble but you may also use an old one that you would like to spruce up.  In the pattern I have also included the instructions should you like to complete your by stuffing it with a bit of fibrefill.

The pattern is worked in continuous rounds meaning that you will not join or turn at the end of each round.  Instead you will use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch and move it as your work progresses.

The Time:

They are so easy! Each one takes about one hour to crochet.  If you have been following me on social media you will see that the next baubles will include a bit more colour as we learn how to work some colour charts together.

Until then, enjoy this easy Christmas ornament.

The ‘x’ on the popup ad on your webpage is placed directly beneath the arrow to take you back to the top of the page. But as soon as I scroll down the page to a certain point, that same exact popup is back at the same place. It makes it difficult to view the page properly. I greatly appreciate the free pattern, please dont take this as a complaint about something given freely, it’s more of a tech issue I suppose in viewing said free item. I was hoping to just view the pattern from my kindle rather than writing it down on paper in order to save on ink, etc. Thanks again for the lovely pattern, I hope it works well with the colors I have on hand.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I will take a look! It is a technical issue and I will see what I can do to resolve it 🙂

Do you have the pattern instructions for a smaller circumference bauble? I only have 8 inch ones. How would I modify the stitch counts for each row? Thanks in advance for any and all help!! Love making your patterns!!
