Every year my husband will ask, “What’s on your Christmas list?” He knows “yarn” will be there, but then I always try to add a couple other fun crochet related items (toys?).
There is something really peaceful about the forest in the Wintertime. Maybe it’s because many of the birds have taken off to warmer climates, maybe it’s because the freshly fallen snow provides an insulating blanket, or maybe it’s because of the absence of leaves rustling in the breeze – whatever the reason, it’s quieter. I love it.
I share my house with my three young kids, my husband and one year old border collie. So sometimes it’s nice to have a space that you can call your own!
