Introducing the At the Woods Slouch Hat, a free crochet pattern!
There is something really peaceful about the forest in the Wintertime. Maybe it’s because many of the birds have taken off to warmer climates, maybe it’s because the freshly fallen snow provides an insulating blanket, or maybe it’s because of the absence of leaves rustling in the breeze – whatever the reason, it’s quieter. I love it.
More Caron Tea Cake patterns! Yea! You may feel differently, but I just love them. So here I am introducing my latest pattern using two Caron Tea Cakes (shown in the colour English Breakfast) is my “In the Woods Triangle Scarf.”
When it’s -30 degrees Celsius with over 20 centimetres of snow on the ground, who doesn’t love to curl up under a thick, warm blanket after a long day?

I am in love with the Caron Tea Cakes! I love their colours, their super chunky weight and the acrylic/wool blend.
I decided to design a quick pair of fingerless gloves to go with the Ginger Spice Slouch hat and Cowl set.
Hi Everyone! I was so excited this morning as a took my kids out for school! Even though we are well into Fall here in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, the weather has been unseasonably warm. But this morning all that changed and it was finally cool enough for me to bundle up and show off my new Slouchy Hat and Cowl set!
