Scrubbies are quick to work up, take very little yarn and make great gifts for your family and friends.  This scrubby is made with the Red Heart Scrubby yarn, however you may also work it in a worsted weight cotton.  I understand, sometimes the scrubby yarn is hard to work with as the stitches can be difficult to see.

Scrubby Yarn:

Because the Scrubby yarn is sometimes challenging to work with, I have designed this scrubby so that the majority of the stitches are worked around the post of the stitch below, which means you are not fighting to see a loop.  I have also used a 6 mm (J/10) crochet hook which loosens the stitches considerably and make it easier to see the few stitches that are worked in the top.

The pattern includes the instructions for both the small and the large sizes.  The small is approximately 3.5 inches across and the large, 4.5 inches.  They are double thick – you will work two of the side pieces and then while working your final edging, you will join the two sides together.

For you convenience, I lave also created a video tutorial for this pattern which will be linked following the written pattern.  While you are watching, please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/RichTexturesCrochet) whole you’re there – I like to update it weekly with free patterns and stitch tutorials!
